Croatia: Everything from The Ultimate Party Destinations to Local Cuisines
By Eve Swain
It doesn’t matter if you are a laid back beach goer or an old school enthusiast.
Croatia not only offers some of the world’s most crystal clear waters to sail on but houses one of the most iconic sets for, The Game of Thrones.
If you find yourself wondering the streets of Dubrovnik, it is suggested that Nishta café is a great place to find a great local coffee. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy they also have a great range of raw and vegan options too.
For something later on, the best place to grab a drink with a view is at the Buza Bars. These bars are on the outside of the old town walls, which not only satisfy that cultural Croatia vibe but come with the luxury of sea views.
For the party goers, Pag is Croatia’s up-and-coming island, its profile raised by the Ibiza-like phenomenon of Zrće, a stretch of beach nightspots near the lively Novalja. If you’re looking for the ultimate club, Noa Beach Club is it.
It has a platform which stretches out into the Adriatic, with docking facilities for yachts, 3D projections and a wild sound system. There is also a ladder which leads down into the water if you need to have a sneaky dip.
If you fancy a bit of heritage with your nightlife, Kalypso is a 30-year-old nightclub which is still the heart of Zrće.
For a bit of relaxation (and some local cuisine) Pag town is the place to shop, sightsee and food. If you have time stop by the Trapula Wine & Cheese Bar, to indulge in some of the best local cheese, lamb and wines with an alfresco setting in the historic, Pag town.
